2010 Elk Application Change

Starting 2010 the new regulations for elk hunting in my area has changed. You will have to apply for a Area 51 Type 1 for the October Rifle Hunts. Archery Hunter will appply for a Area 51 Type 9 tag.

NEW LOCATION

We will be opening a new location in dowtown Cody soon. Walk-ins will be welcome for the summer. We will be doing day-fishing trips and day trailrides.Also we will be booking summer trips and fall hunts. Stop in and see us.

Mule Deer Hunts-2010

Looks like 2010 should be a good year for deer. I have seen a lot of good 4 pt. bucks this winter while feeding the horses at the ranch, all in good winte shape. Might be a year to put in for that mule deer hunt! Don't forget we have wilderness camp hunts for Mule Deer also.

2010 looks good in Timbercreek, Last fall during the Archery Hunts I saw a lot of good bulls.We had a 50% harvest archery hunting and a75% on the rifle hunts. We saw bulls everyday. Yes we have wolves, but they did not come into our area this year and usually don't. Due to the application changes there will be less pressure on the elk herds from hunters. We look forward to a good hunt this year.
